Banned colours, expired dairy products found in food establishments at 36 Karnataka railway stations

A food safety inspection revealed non-permitted colours in sweets and expired dairy products. Unhygienic food preparation and fungal growth on vegetables were also discovered. Officials found plastic material used in preparing idlis at Mysuru Railway Station. Chutney was stored in unsuitable plastic buckets, posing a health risk. Railway authorities will be informed about these violations for further action.
