Amit Shah chairs southern CMs conclave, Karnataka CM Shivakumar flags delimitation

Union Home Minister Amit Shah led a meeting of southern chief ministers. Karnataka CM DK Shivakumar raised the delimitation issue and women's reservation. Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin and Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan had a key interaction. The Mekedatu dam project and Cauvery water sharing were also discussed. Southern states emphasized population control should not reduce political representation.
