West Bengal govt seeks custodial interrogation of Abhishek Banerjee's aide in land-grabbing case

West Bengal government informed the Supreme Court that Sumit Roy is not cooperating with the probe. The court had previously stayed Roy's arrest in the Salboni land-grabbing case. Roy's anticipatory bail plea was rejected by the Calcutta High Court earlier this month. The state government requested the withdrawal of protection from arrest for the personal assistant.
