A study by French scientists indicates that the use of solar panels can drastically lessen sunburn injuries on apples, reducing the damage to just two percent in shaded fruits, compared to thirteen percent for those under direct sunlight. Additionally, these systems help maintain cooler apple temperatures during extreme heat conditions.
