Railway passengers, beware of what you buy onboard: IRCTC seizes 8,000+ water bottles, ice creams & other food products

IRCTC has intensified inspections across railway stations and trains. Quick Response Teams have seized more than 8,000 bottles of unapproved packaged drinking water. Unauthorised ice cream and flavoured milk were also confiscated during surprise checks. The inspections aim to ensure that food and beverage products meet prescribed safety standards.
