GE Aerospace uses AI to cut aircraft engine turnaround time by five days

GE Aerospace is using artificial intelligence at its Bengaluru technology centre to improve aircraft engine inspections, maintenance and supply-chain forecasting, reducing engine turnaround time by around five days. Its AI-enabled tools are also cutting GEnx blade inspection times by about 50%, while engineers work on next-generation propulsion and engine technologies.
