Domestic donations to PM CARES down by 30 pc to Rs 479 crore in FY25

Domestic donations to the PM CARES Fund dropped by thirty percent to Rs 479 crore. Foreign donations also saw an eighteen percent decline, reaching Rs 92.8 lakh. The fund's total balance increased to Rs 8,452 crore by March 31, 2025. Spending on the PM CARES for Children Scheme significantly decreased in the recent fiscal year. The fund was established to address emergency and distress situations.
