Congress flags missing OBC category in Census questionnaire, seeks Telangana-like caste census

Congress has questioned the absence of a specific OBC category in the Census questionnaire, warning that the open-ended “caste” field could produce cluttered and unusable data on Other Backward Classes. AICC OBC cell chairman Anil Jaihind demanded a Telangana-like caste census and said OBCs would oppose the current format.
