GitHub down: Users report issues with website, app and login

Microsoft-owned GitHub faced a significant outage on Monday evening. Users reported widespread issues with its website and application services. The outage comes just a few months after GitHub confirmed a cyberattack involving unauthorised access to some of its internal repositories, following claims by a threat actor that it had stolen and was attempting to sell company data online.
