Assam releases Rs 47.93 crore flood relief to 31,951 families; total aid reaches Rs 146.26 crore

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma released Rs. 47.93 crore in interim flood assistance through DBT to 31,951 families across Sivasagar, Charaideo, Jorhat and Golaghat. With the latest disbursement, the state has provided Rs. 146.26 crore to 96,842 flood-affected families, while damage assessment and verification continue across the four districts.
