At least five killed after magnitude 7.7 earthquake strikes eastern Indonesia

An earthquake of magnitude 7.7 struck eastern Indonesia early Saturday morning. Several aftershocks followed the initial powerful tremor, which lasted for one minute. Minor tsunami waves were recorded in several coastal areas after the quake. Many residents evacuated their homes, but no significant damage was initially reported.
