Govt seeks applications to appoint two CCI members to avoid lack of quorum

The corporate affairs ministry is seeking applications for two Competition Commission of India members. This appointment will strengthen the regulator's decision-making capabilities and maintain quorum. One member resigned in July, leaving the commission with two members and the chairperson. The commission requires three members for key antitrust matters and combination proposals. Selected candidates will serve for five years or until age sixty-five.
