RG Kar victim's 'hurried cremation': Mob attacks arrested ex-TMC MLA Nirmal Ghosh, aide

Former TMC MLA Nirmal Ghosh was assaulted by a mob outside a police station. He was arrested in connection with the hurried cremation of a doctor. Another accused, Sanjib Mukherjee, also faced similar public anger. Police are seeking a 14-day remand for the two arrested leaders. The third accused, Somnath Dey, remains absconding.
