Supreme Court backs NALSAR students and slams BCI circular; CJI Surya Kant asks ‘who are they to interfere’
The Supreme Court on Friday expressed displeasure over a BCI circular banning enrolment of NALSAR University of Law’s 2026-batch graduates as advocates. CJI Surya Kant said students have a right to protest, questioned the BCI’s intervention and said no punitive action should be taken against NALSAR students or faculty.
