301 Medals of Gallantry awarded to Police, Fire Service personnel

The Centre awarded 301 Gallantry Medals to Police and Fire Service personnel. Many of these awards recognized service in Left Wing Extremism affected regions. Additionally, 92 police personnel received the President's Medal for Distinguished Service. A total of 1057 personnel were honored with Gallantry and Service Medals. These recognitions celebrate acts of bravery and dedicated service to the nation.
