Asia Rice: India rates hit near one-year high on tight supply

Indian rice export prices have reached their highest level in nearly a year. Vietnam's rice prices also increased for a third consecutive week. Bangladesh plans to import one hundred thousand tons of parboiled rice from Vietnam. Malaysia and the Philippines have increased their rice imports due to El Nino concerns.
