Israel sends troops into West Bank homes besieged by Jewish settlers

Israeli troops occupied Palestinian homes in Qusra village on Thursday. Settlers had trapped Palestinian families in a siege since the weekend. The United Nations reported some fifteen Palestinians were trapped without water or electricity. The Israeli military stated soldiers were deployed to protect residents and maintain security. The U.S. Ambassador called the settlers "Israeli terrorists" and their actions criminal.
