Who really owns Tata Group? The trusts behind Tata Sons

Tata Sons, the group's holding company, is primarily owned by charitable trusts. These philanthropic trusts, established by the Tata family, support various social causes. The Sir Dorabji Tata Trust and Sir Ratan Tata Trust collectively hold a majority stake. Noel Tata, as chairman, does not personally own these significant Tata Sons shares.
