Former MLB star calls for salary fix as owners, Players Association talk 'two different languages'

The current collective bargaining agreement between Major League Baseball and the Players' Association expires in roughly three and a half months, and there seems to be no resolution in sight.

Players are adamant that they will not play under a salary cap, which has been formally proposed by owners for the first time since 1994 — and we all know how that worked out.
