Judoka Asmita Dey felicitated in Tripura after Commonwealth Games gold

Asmita Dey, India's first Commonwealth Games judo gold medalist, received a grand felicitation. The Tripura government presented her with a cheque for ten lakh rupees. She was also allotted a plot of land in Agartala for building a house. Chief Minister Manik Saha highlighted her journey from a village to international success. He urged her to focus on upcoming Asian Games and avoid doping violations.
