Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma asks Arunachal counterpart to order probe into firing incident

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma urged his Arunachal counterpart to investigate border firing. Several people from Assam were injured in the incident over land disputes. The Mising community launched an economic blockade against Arunachal Pradesh in protest. Both states have been working to resolve remaining border disputes amicably. Officials expect a temporary setback to be overcome soon.
