US military operations killed 153 civilians in 2025, Pentagon says
Pentagon assessments indicate 153 civilians died and 243 were injured by U.S. military actions in 2025. These casualties primarily resulted from three strikes conducted in Yemen during April 2025. Additional incidents in Yemen are currently being assessed by U.S. Central Command. Operations in the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific did not result in civilian casualties. The U.S. Southern Command reported no civilian harm from its operations in 2025.
