Cyber fraud crackdown: Centre blocks over 3,700 mobile apps, saves Rs 11,158 crore
The government has blocked 3,718 mobile applications by June 30, 2026. Over Rs 11,158 crore has been saved through 32.80 lakh fraud complaints. A suspect registry was launched, declining transactions worth Rs 25,698 crore. Standard operating procedures are in place for efficient complaint handling.
