Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma re-launches subsidized Masoor Dal and Sugar Distribution Scheme

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma relaunched a subsidized masoor dal and sugar distribution scheme. This initiative will benefit over 2.48 crore National Food Security Act beneficiaries across the state. Masoor dal is now available at Rs. 70 per kg and sugar at Rs. 30 per kg. The scheme was temporarily paused for two months due to the Vote on Account budget.
