Two back-to-back tremors hit Palghar in Maharashtra; no casualty

Two tremors of magnitude 3.4 struck Maharashtra’s Palghar district within an hour on Monday night, officials said. The earthquakes occurred at a depth of 5 km in Jawhar taluka at 10.04 pm and 11 pm. No casualties or property damage were reported, while authorities monitored the situation and urged residents to remain calm.
