NOPD senior officer Brandon Coleman faces 350 charges in an alleged overtime fraud case after Louisiana State Police said he collected more than $111,000 in fraudulent overtime payments. There were discrepancies between the hours he reported and the hours investigators believe he actually worked. The allegations include false public records, payroll fraud, theft and malfeasance in office. Coleman's attorney has strongly denied the accusations, calling the charges “absolutely baseless.”
