Earthquake of magnitude 7.4 strikes Colombia's Pacific coast, causes injuries and damage in Choco

A significant earthquake struck Colombia's Choco province on Monday morning. The tremor caused injuries and considerable damage to buildings in Quibdo. Its epicenter was located near San Jose del Palmar, officials reported. The quake was felt across Bogota and even into Venezuela. Authorities are assessing the full extent of the damage.
