SC adjourns Sena UBT plea challenging six MPs’ merger with Shinde Sena

The Supreme Court has adjourned a hearing on a Shiv Sena (UBT) plea by two weeks. This plea challenges the Lok Sabha Speaker's approval of six MPs merging with Eknath Shinde's faction. Senior advocate Kapil Sibal argued for interim relief, citing serious consequences of the Speaker's decision. The Speaker had approved the merger of six Shiv Sena (UBT) MPs on July 18.
