Rs 50 lakh jewellery vanishes from SBI locker: Woman alleges bank negligence after being told she no longer had a locker following bank merger

Jewellery worth around Rs 50 lakh has mysteriously gone missing from an SBI bank locker. The locker holder has lodged a complaint alleging negligence on the part of bank officials. Following the complaint, police have launched an investigation against the branch manager and other employees. Bank records show that the locker was last accessed by the holder in 2020, and the investigation into the missing jewellery is currently underway.
