"15,000 to 20,000 personnel, over 1,000 CCTV cameras": Delhi Police outlines security measures at Red Fort ahead of Independence Day celebrations

Delhi Police has detailed extensive security arrangements for the upcoming Independence Day celebrations. Approximately fifteen thousand to twenty thousand security personnel will be deployed at the Red Fort. Over one thousand cameras and advanced video analytics are being utilised for surveillance purposes. Anti-drone systems are in place to counter any aerial threats during the event. The Indian Air Force Band will perform at the National War Memorial this evening.
