No Retrospective Effect for FCRA Bill: Mizoram CM after Shah Meet

Christian organisations and some state governments have voiced concerns regarding the proposed Foreign Contribution Regulation Amendment Bill. Mizoram Chief Minister Laldhuhoma met Union Home Minister Amit Shah to discuss these issues. The Chief Minister received assurance that the bill will not have retrospective effect. Remaining points will be addressed in writing by the Home Minister after parliamentary discussions.
