SA20 Season 5 will feature star players like Mitchell Marsh and Sam Curran. Joe Root and Phil Salt are also returning to their respective franchises. Several big names were released before the upcoming player auction on October 7. Defending champions Sunrisers Eastern Cape will face Pretoria Capitals in the opener. The tournament begins January 17 and concludes February 21.
