Drone with explosive device found at German airport, detonator removed

A drone carrying an explosive device was discovered near Leipzig/Halle Airport's south runway. Authorities removed the detonator from the object, which was examined by police. The airport's runways were closed, and several flights were diverted to other locations. An apparent second flying object collided with a freight airplane after it aborted its landing. Officials found slight damage on the freight airplane which flew to Hannover.
