Commerce ministry notifies norms for inventory-based e-commerce exports

New Delhi has notified procedures for online companies undertaking cross-border e-commerce. The government recently allowed foreign-stakes e-commerce firms to hold inventory for exports. Operational procedures for this framework are now notified with immediate effect. These include registration, inventory management, and dispute resolution mechanisms. The Directorate General of Foreign Trade issued this public notice.
