India invites Bangladesh PM Tarique Rahman to attend BRICS summit

India has invited Bangladesh Prime Minister Tarique Rahman to the BRICS summit. He will attend the outreach session in his capacity as BIMSTEC chair. The upcoming BRICS summit is scheduled for September 12 and 13 in New Delhi. This meeting will address pressing global challenges and economic consequences of crises. Leaders from several non-BRICS countries have also received similar invitations.
