Stock market closing time changes from today: What happens at 3:15, 3:30 and 3:40 PM

India's stock market introduces new closing times and auction sessions starting today. Continuous trading for F&O stocks ends at 3:15 p.m. for a new auction process. Other stocks will continue trading until 3:30 p.m. while derivatives trade until 3:40 p.m. This new system aims to improve price discovery and reduce market impact.
