Centre to hand over investigation of Khopanala explosion case in Nagaland to NIA

The National Investigation Agency will now investigate the Khopanala explosion case which occurred in Nagaland's Chumoukedima district on July 13. One Assam Rifles jawan was killed and four others sustained injuries. The Central Government deemed the offence to have national security implications. Both Nagaland Police and the NIA will coordinate the handover process.
