India's Ajaya Babu wins weightlifting silver at Commonwealth Games

Valluri Ajaya Babu secured a silver medal in the men's 79kg weightlifting event. He lifted a total of 330kg, narrowly missing the gold medal. Ajaya Babu set a new Games record of 149kg in the snatch discipline. His opponent from Malaysia edged him out in the clean and jerk section. This medal adds to India's successful weightlifting campaign at the Games.
