West Bengal plans sustainable wildlife and mangrove tourism in Sundarbans

West Bengal plans sustainable tourism development for the Sundarbans mangrove forest. Two Bengal destinations will be promoted globally under a national program. Eco-resorts, river tourism, and e-vessels will be introduced in the Sundarbans. A comprehensive tourism policy is scheduled for release in August. Kolkata will also be promoted as a heritage and riverfront tourism hub.
