Surat's 16.95-carat artwork with 32 lab-grown diamonds travels to space on India's Vikram-1 rocket, claims historic first

A Surat jewellery firm sent its lotus-shaped lab-grown diamonds into space. These diamonds traveled aboard Skyroot Aerospace's Vikram-1 orbital rocket. The intricate design took six months and thirty-two diamonds to create. This marks the first time diamonds from India's diamond city reached orbit.
