114 Rafale jet deal: France expected to respond to India's Letter of Request by mid-August

France will submit its official response to India's Rafale jet request by mid-August. Negotiations on price and other aspects will follow the French submission. India requested 114 Rafale jets for its Air Force earlier this year. This acquisition aims to bolster the Indian Air Force's dwindling squadron strength. Existing and planned Rafale orders will bring the total to over 200 aircraft.
