Import curbs for six months on suspension grade PVC resin

The government has restricted imports of low-priced suspension-grade PVC resin for six months by introducing a minimum import price, while exempting export-oriented units and certain export-linked schemes. The Directorate General of Foreign Trade imposed the restriction following an anti-dumping investigation initiated after complaints from domestic manufacturers over alleged dumping of PVC resin from seven countries.
