Not holding NEET debate will send wrong message to country: Rijiju in LS

Parliament remained deadlocked over the NEET paper leak issue on Friday as Union Minister Kiren Rijiju urged the Opposition to allow a debate in the Lok Sabha without preconditions, citing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's assurance of a law against paper leaks and fast-track courts. However, the Congress and other opposition parties continued to demand Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation, raising slogans of "Istifa Do", leading to another adjournment of the House.
