A Bandhan Bank employee from Valsad, Gujarat has shared a video showing neck-deep floodwater outside his home, capturing the scale of flooding after Umbergaon taluka recorded over 1,100mm of rainfall in just 16 hours. Gujarat has seen 1,200 rescues and one death as south Gujarat bears the worst of the monsoon, according to PTI.
