Heavy rainfall inundates parts of Surat rural; Kim River in spate, traffic disrupted

Heavy rainfall has caused significant waterlogging in rural South Gujarat areas. The Kim River overflowed, disrupting traffic and entering residential localities. Rescue operations are underway, with NDRF saving 67 people in Navsari district. Senior officers and multiple teams have been deployed to Valsad for relief efforts. Over 500 residents were shifted to safer locations from affected talukas.
