Domestic air passenger traffic to rise by 3-6 pc in this fiscal: ICRA

The domestic air travel sector is projected to see a growth of three to six percent in the current fiscal year, while Indian airlines may experience a modest increase of zero to three percent in international traffic. However, the industry faces a concerning net loss estimated between thirty-six and thirty-eight thousand crore rupees, driven by rising costs and a weakening Indian Rupee.
