EAM S Jaishankar, Marco Rubio hold talks in Manila on trade, energy

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met US Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Manila. They discussed trade, tariffs, energy, defence, critical minerals, and artificial intelligence. Both diplomats attended high-level discussions under the ASEAN and Quad frameworks. They also exchanged views on the West Asia crisis and its global energy impact. These discussions focused on priority areas for the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership.
