Calcutta HC grants interim protection to TMC MP Mahua Moitra in hate speech case

The Calcutta High Court granted interim protection from coercive action to Mahua Moitra. This protection is valid until October fifth in a hate speech case. Moitra must appear before the investigating officer on August fourteenth for questioning. The court directed her to cooperate fully with the ongoing investigation. Further proceedings in the matter will be heard again on October first.
