Sikkim tunnel accident: NHPC says top management at site as death toll reaches 10

Ten people died and twenty-five personnel were trapped after a methane gas burst. The explosion occurred inside an under-construction tunnel at the Teesta Stage VI Hydroelectric Project. Rescue operations are underway with multiple agencies coordinating efforts at the site. Seven victims have been identified, with three bodies remaining unidentified.
