Andhra govt to roll out 500 'Thalli-Bidda Express' vehicles for mothers, newborns

Andhra Pradesh will soon deploy 500 new Thalli-Bidda Express vehicles for free transport. These vehicles will benefit approximately 2.75 lakh women annually across the state. Postnatal mothers and newborns will receive free rides from government hospitals to their homes. High-risk pregnant women will also be transported for essential medical examinations. The initiative aims to enhance maternal and infant healthcare services statewide.
